We don’t believe you have to compromise important priorities in your life to be in ours, which is why ThinkCERCA offers a flexible work-from-home policy. In fact, depending on the position, many of our employees work completely remote.
From conferences to workshops to internal trainings, we’re committed to helping our team members grow in their profession. Each department is allocated funds for professional learning to enhance their team’s skills and/or knowledge. As a collaborative team, we often use our Collaboration Space on Thursday as an open time to share key learnings from these opportunities. Check out how our very own ThinkCERCA team members shared learnings from their course with Tom Chi, ThinkCERCA board member and founder of Google X.
We strive to make everyone feel included at ThinkCERCA, so every month we have a company-sponsored team lunch to celebrate CERCA-versaries and birthdays happening that month. The folks who have their birthday in that month usually get to decide what will be on the menu, and the Party Planning Committee organizes the lunch.
Once a quarter, we get all of our Chicago team members together for a fun group activity — think: pizza-making classes, boat rides, trolleys, or open bar at your favorite Chicago venue.
These team-wide retreats happen twice a year at our Chicago HQ. ThinkCERCA flies all of our remote employees in for a few days of bonding, fun, and professional development workshops.
ThinkCERCA HQ hosts a Worksgiving potluck every year in honor of Thanksgiving. ThinkCERCA supplies the drinks and everybody brings one dish. Friends and family are all welcome!
LGBTQ CERCA is our affinity group dedicated to promoting events, support, and visibility of our LGBTQ team members. Participants are invited to help plan, host, and partner with other organizations for queer, education, and tech-oriented events. These events are always open to the whole team.
