Chicago (August 13, 2015) — Chicago education technology company ThinkCERCA, an online literacy platform that empowers teachers to personalize literacy instruction across disciplines, announced today two new hires to its senior team: Mark Chowaniec as vice president of product management and Keith Kostrzewski as vice president of customer success. Their years of experience in both education and technology will help ThinkCERCA enhance classroom solutions, drive student and teacher success, and deepen relationships with educators across the nation.
Mark Chowaniec comes to ThinkCERCA with over a decade of leadership experience in technology product innovation across various industries. Formerly the director of product management at SAVO Group, Chowaniec spent five years leading the creation of the company’s flagship product. Prior to SAVO Group, he worked for Follett Corporation as the product manager of K-12 digital solutions and subscription services, where he oversaw marketing and new product strategy for the leading education resource provider. As vice president of product management at ThinkCERCA, Chowaniec will strategize and lead the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision to spark courageous thinking in students.
Keith Kostrzewski brings 15 years of experience in the education technology industry to his new role as vice president of customer success at ThinkCERCA. Most recently, Kostrzewski spent three years with Pearson North America as an engagement manager and regional general manager, working with strategic accounts, including Chicago Public Schools. Kostrzewski also spent eight years in various growth-focused roles with the education technology startup Schoolnet prior to its acquisition by Pearson in 2011. As vice president of customer success, Kostrzewski will ensure that teachers, principals and districts have the tools and support needed to successfully implement ThinkCERCA and drive meaningful results in their schools.
