Daniel is Chief Revenue Officer at ThinkCERCA where he leads the marketing and sales teams in driving growth for the company. Before joining ThinkCERCA, he spent his entire 14-year career in EdTech. Growing up with teachers in the family, he was always drawn to the idea of working in education, but it wasn’t until his computer science professor at Georgia Tech showed him how the internet could enable better learning experiences and outcomes that he was truly hooked.
Daniel was most recently VP of Marketing & Sales at Smart Sparrow, a Sydney-based company offering courseware development software and services. Before that, he served as VP of Student & Web Marketing at Cengage, a leading US publisher in San Francisco. And he started his career at Aplia, an EdTech company focused on economics education based in Silicon Valley, where he worked in Sales, led Business Development, Marketing, Product, Support, and eventually was Executive Director.
Daniel received his B.S. and M.S. in Economics from Georgia Tech. And after more than 20 years spent in the SF Bay Area and Atlanta, he’s happy to be back home in Chicago!
